WHAT IS A BARIATRIC PRE-SURGERY PYSCHOSOCIAL CLEARANCE?

A psychosocial evaluation helps identify any potential mental health risks so you aren’t caught by surprise if psychological symptoms occur after surgery. You also talk with the Therapist about any traumas, abuse, or other factors in your past that could affect your adjustment to a constructive post-surgery lifestyle.

    WHAT IS BARIATRIC THERAPY?

Bariatric therapy, also known as therapy for bariatric surgery patients, is a specialized form of therapy designed to provide emotional support and address the psychological needs of individuals who have undergone or are planning to undergo bariatric surgery, promoting their overall well-being and successful weight loss journey.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM BARIATRIC THERAPY SESSIONS?

Bariatric therapy sessions offer a supportive and confidential environment where you can discuss and address emotional challenges, body image concerns, relationship changes, and lifestyle adjustments related to bariatric surgery. Therapists will work with you to develop coping strategies, provide guidance on self-care, and promote emotional well-being throughout your weight loss journey.

WHAT IS THE COST OF A PRE-SURGICAL CLEARANCE LETTER?
