I believe that people have innate strengths that empower them to thrive in life. I also believe that individuals have the capacity to grow and better themselves. My main goal in therapy is to help the client live a meaningful and fulfilling life, to cultivate what is best within themselves, and to improve their experiences of love, work, and play. This can be achieved by increasing the client’s self-awareness and self-compassion through paying attention in the present moment without judgment and letting go of the automatic judgments that arise in the mind with every experience.
I also have a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology. My previous work experience includes working with professional golfers in the Philippines with regard to the mental aspects of their sport (e.g., confidence). This includes the implementation of biofeedback and mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques (e.g., grounding and relaxation techniques).

We have to let go of the old thing before we can pick up the new- not just outwardly, but inwardly, where we keep our connections to the people and places that act as definitions of who we are” (Bridges, 1993). Christel is trained with TRP (tactical resiliency process) and emotions clearing technique. Resiliency training gives the client the power to bounce back from trauma or extreme negative emotions by teaching their brain a new skill. Effectively ending the symptoms associated with PTSD.
