Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Lauren believes in working with people of all ages and all backgrounds to help them gain the skills to live their lives to the fullest. She has experience working with individuals from multiple different cultures, backgrounds, genders, and ages. Her passion is to help individuals, especially young people, find the ability to build healthy relationships while managing anxiety, depression, relational trauma, and other roadblocks that might interfere with living a genuine and authentic life.
Lauren earned her Masters of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida and is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in the state of Florida. She provides individual, couples, and family counseling. She has experience working in outpatient settings and community mental health. Using an integrated approach in counseling Lauren believes in adapting her therapeutic style based on individual needs. Some of the theoretical approaches she uses include attachment theory, REBT, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
