    Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Hi there! I know it can be intimidating to seek out counseling and I believe there is strength in vulnerability. My goal as a counselor is to create a safe and inclusive space for clients to feel heard, validated, and empowered. I utilize cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and solution-focused counseling, tailoring my approach to your needs. I have experience working with anxiety/depression, trauma, perinatal mood disorders, life transitions, and grief. I believe in the importance of culturally-competent and trauma-informed care. Therapy is not “one-size-fits-all” and every individual has their own unique set of circumstances that influence their experiences. Together, we will collaborate to utilize your strengths, modify unhelpful patterns of thinking, and identify healthy coping skills.

I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern working towards licensure in the State of Florida. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from the University of Central Florida (go Knights!). I have worked with diverse populations in both outpatient and hospital settings. My most recent experience consisted of providing counseling, support, and resources to families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). I look forward to walking alongside you throughout this healing process.

Fun facts: In my free time, you can likely find me traveling, hiking, making iced lattes, or trying to keep my houseplants alive.
