Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Hello! It takes a lot of courage to seek help. I am glad you are here. I use a blended approach tailored to meet your needs. My approach includes providing a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to be heard and supported and providing education and tools to help you with: coping with difficult and overwhelming feelings, managing stress, shifting unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior, and learning healthy relationship skills. We can work on your goals together using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques. I work with individual adults needing support with managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress.
I have extensive experience in Crisis and Suicide Intervention. I have experience working with diverse populations in a variety of therapeutic settings, including immigrant families, children of immigrants, college students, and persons with disabilities. I am passionate about culturally responsive and compassionate care. I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from Florida State University and my Masters of Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work at the City University of New York.
