Whitney DeGraff earned her Masters of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. She provides individual, couples and family therapy. Her passions include working with adolescent and adult clients to help them cope with difficult emotions, stress and anger management, grief and bereavement, relational concerns, parenting skills, and increasing overall self-esteem. Utilizing cognitive behavioral, solution focused, motivational enhancement, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) techniques, she has excelled in helping her clients adjust to life changes as well as process and ultimately resolve trauma.
Whitney has experience in community mental health, residential, and outpatient settings. She has worked extensively with a variety of mental health diagnosis, as well as substance abuse concerns. She passionately believes that everyone can not only achieve a sense of meaning and purpose in their life, but also resolve painful conflicts and reach their full potential. She is focused on providing an empathetic, understanding, and non-judgmental environment to assist her clients with their personal goals and overall well-being.
